GRIP-Auto Sealed Automotive PC

The GRIP-Auto is a semi-rugged PC housed in a semi-rugged, environmentally sealed chassis.

Vision4ce has leveraged the value in the latest high performance COTS components and added ruggedness for the automotive market. The internal low-power atom based motherboard is mounted using anti-vibration fixtures and improved reliability components are introduced wherever possible, such as on the heat sinks, fans, battery, jumpers etc. All motherboard connectors are then safely hidden and protected inside the sealed box and rugged connectors are projected to the outside world. The internal power supply is also a newer automotive rated device that handles engine ignition and thump with low power modes for advanced battery management.

All this rugged computing power at such a low price and power requirement makes a superb addition to the Vision4ce range.
